Vera Sacchetti writes about design and architecture for publications such as Domus, Disegno, Change Observer and Frame. Following her training and practice as a communication designer in Portugal, Vera attended SVA’s MFA in Design Criticism as a Fulbright scholar, developing a masters thesis surveying the social design practice in the US. Her current research topics include architecture and design in emerging and crisis contexts. Vera was formerly web editor at Domus, a monthly magazine of contemporary architecture, design and art, and co-founded NY-based editorial consultancy Superscript. She co-edited The Adhocracy Reader for the 1st Istanbul Design Biennial, and has served as head of international communications at the EXD’11/LISBOA design biennale. She is currently managing editor at the Barragán Foundation, in Basel, Switzerland.
